Panion & BF Biotech is accelerating its biotech beauty business with the launch of three new products this month in Taiwan, China, and Vietnam. The new offerings include the Su Sheng Ti Huan Cai Freeze-Dried Essence and Microneedle Patches, which officially went on sale in early July. Chairman Jiang Zongming stated that the biotech beauty sector is a key focus for this year's operations, with these new products already being pre-ordered by medical aesthetic clinics. Additionally, the company is optimistic about the development of diagnostic reagents and active pharmaceutical ingredients next year.
The PxoBang for skin contains exosome-based bi-vesicle (dual-membrane protein particle - exosome) and multiple natural peptides (growth factors) from PRP. Jiang Zongming explained that while standard PRP degrades within three days and cannot be commercialized, their proprietary extraction technology combined with active bi-umbrella protection allows the product to remain effective for at least two years at room temperature (below 25°C). Once reconstituted, its activity can be maintained for 30 days. The product has undergone in vitro testing at National Taiwan University Dermatology and complete sterilization tests.
Another pioneering technology is the 450μm Microneedle Patches, the first of its kind in the industry to penetrate the epidermis down to the dermis effectively. These patches feature Pao Ling’s exclusive segmented pyramid microneedles, which can ensure the target layer remains within the skin, enhancing the medical aesthetic effect. Two products are launched under this technology: the BDS Whitening Patch, targeting blemish reduction, and the SMP Hair Simulation Patch, designed to fill in hair loss gaps.
Jiang Zongming highlighted that the company has invested in exosome-related biotech beauty projects for five years, with the official product launch in July. The products are now available in Taiwan, China, and Vietnam, and discussions are ongoing for representation in other markets. The main sales channels for these products are minimally invasive aesthetic medicine and medical aesthetic clinics, with pre-orders already underway. Another product in development, a thread-lifting product, is expected to be launched next year. The company is fully committed to boosting its biotech beauty business in the second half of this year and anticipates growth in diagnostic reagents and the active pharmaceutical ingredients of its subsidiary Cheng Fong Chemical next year.
