On May 30, Jufan held its annual shareholders' meeting, during which the 2023 financial report and profit distribution plan were approved. Chairman Chin-Tsai Hu highlighted the company’s dedication to precision health, green energy, and renewable energy industries. Jufan has secured certification as a qualified supplier for Siemens Gamesa, positioning the company to join the offshore wind turbine component supply chain for the third phase of offshore wind farms, thereby supporting the government's 2050 net-zero carbon emissions goal.
Revenue from Jufan’s healthcare sector has surpassed 5%, with stable supplies to Japanese healthcare clients from its Taiwan plant and a steady increase in orders for medical applications each year. Sales to major Chinese medical equipment manufacturers from the Wuxi plant have also shown consistent growth, with orders expected to continue rising this year.
Hu emphasized that Jufan is a leading Taiwanese company in oil and pneumatic technology, extending its product applications from metal processing machinery to biomedical, wind energy, and aerospace industries. In response to the global trend towards Industry 4.0 smart manufacturing, the company has fully implemented an AI-based smart monitoring system.
For 2023, Jufan reported consolidated revenues of NT$1.012 billion, with earnings per share (EPS) of NT$3.28. The company approved a total dividend distribution of NT$2 per share (including NT$1.2 in cash dividends and NT$0.8 in stock dividends). Following the stock dividend distribution, Jufan’s capital will increase from NT$278 million to NT$300 million, enhancing market liquidity and attracting institutional investors.
With strong demand in the tire and healthcare sectors, the Wuxi plant achieved record revenue in April. Based on current orders, the outlook for May and June remains positive, and Q2 revenue is expected to maintain double-digit year-on-year growth. The offshore wind power phase 3-2 supplier selection is anticipated to be announced as early as June, with grid connection planned for 2028-2029. Jufan is projected to submit samples in 2025 and commence supply in 2026.
