Professor Chang Wu-hsiu, chairman of the association, said, "Under the promotion of Taiwan's New Southbound Policy, the medical biotechnology industry has shown significant effectiveness. The growth potential of this industry far exceeds that of other traditional industries and is a key area worthy of government and public investment."
