This year, CDMO business will add Indian and Japanese clients, and Sunny Pharmtech is optimistic about this year's operationsMar 29, 2024

Sunny Pharmtech Inc., which recently went public, held an investor conference on the 28th. Chairman Yong-lien Wu stated that the company will accelerate its global layout of "one drug, multiple certifications" this year and optimize its CDMO (Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization) order strategy. The company is fully committed to boosting performance and is optimistic about the outlook for the full year's operations. 

Yong-lien Wu further stated that the company will pursue both internal and external strategies this year, aiming for another outstanding performance. In terms of CDMO business, the company aims to secure long-term supply orders from international clients to ensure efficient use of production capacity and optimize CDMO revenue composition. Currently, negotiations with several new clients are ongoing, with opportunities expected to add Indian and Japanese clients this year, thereby expanding the scale of CDMO business. 

Currently, Sunny Pharmtech has six drugs in various stages of regulatory review in the United States, Taiwan, China, and other regions, with the potential to be approved this year, contributing to revenue growth. In addition, the company aims to submit a total of seven drug applications to the United States, Taiwan, China, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, Mexico, and other regions this year. With stable growth in the CDMO business, the company internally holds a cautious and optimistic view of its overall performance this year. 

Sunny Pharmtech's consolidated revenue reached NT$428 million last year, representing a year-on-year increase of 19.2%, setting a new record. Benefiting from optimized revenue composition, the gross profit margin climbed to 66%, also reaching a new high. The loss per share decreased significantly to NT$0.44 compared to the previous year.
