Teamplus announced yesterday that after a year of operational testing, Pingtung Hospital, as the first hospital under the Ministry of Health and Welfare to implement a private cloud IM (Instant Messaging) as the Total Program Observation (TPO) center, has assisted the hospital in achieving comprehensive development in evaluation management, critical value and consultation notification, and patient care, transforming the mode of medical communication.
In anticipation of the era of smart healthcare, various medical centers and regional teaching hospitals are actively developing digital platforms, investing in software and hardware system improvements, and utilizing information technology. Pingtung Hospital has fully adopted the team+ enterprise private cloud collaboration platform, ushering in a new era of intelligent healthcare and effectively assisting medical teams in instantly grasping patient conditions, significantly improving the efficiency of medical team care.
Teamplus stated that the team+ private cloud IM platform is the most dedicated real-time communication system for smart healthcare in Asia. Currently, Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, National Taiwan University Hospital, and Tzu Chi Hospital have already adopted it. Since last year, Pingtung Hospital has been developing dual-track simultaneous reporting for critical values and consultations, which is widely used in clinical units and cancer centers, covering more than 2 million reported cases to date.
Xiao-han Chou, Director of the Medical Administration Office at Pingtung Hospital, stated that after the implementation of the smart platform, doctors can use the dual APP security control mode of team+ to allow more external specialized physicians to directly enter the hospital's specialty discussion center for communication and interaction. The critical point of patient care enables nurses to better understand the patient's condition and improve the quality of clinical nursing.
Xiao-han Chou pointed out that team+ can significantly reduce the difficulty of traditional SMS notifications and greatly enhance the two-way feedback of medical information. Its application scope is the innovation and pioneer of national public hospitals, allowing each team of the hospital management hierarchy to closely communicate and discuss issues such as improving operating room efficiency, personnel training, and resource management, without worrying about message leakage due to the use of public cloud IM.
Dr. Yi-Lun Lee, Director of Pingtung Hospital, expressed the hope of establishing a platform full of learning and sharing to further promote the resilience of Pingtung Hospital's smart healthcare services, providing patients with safer and more effective care and treatment, delivering medical center-level treatment and care, and investing heavily in new smart healthcare service extensions, creating safer teleconsultation services, and reducing the hardships of travel for local residents.
