TTY Biopharm Co. Ltd., and Roche Collaborate to Expand Cancer Drug PortfolioMar 11, 2024

TTY Biopharm Co. Ltd., announced on the 8th of this month that it has signed a cooperation agreement with the globally renowned Roche this week. Roche will entrust TTY Biopharm with the marketing of its developed cancer drug Avastin® (Bevacizumab) in certain cancer treatment domains and academic medical activities starting from April 1st. Meanwhile, Roche will continue to provide services such as clinical trials and academic research projects. TTY Biopharm stated that this collaboration not only expands its product portfolio in the field of cancer therapeutics but also jointly provides comprehensive medical solutions with Roche for patients. 

Girish Mulye, the General Manager of Roche, emphasized the synergistic effect of this strategic alliance with Taiwan Oriental on caring for cancer patients in Taiwan. Being the world's largest biotechnology company and a global leader in diagnostics, this partnership not only enhances Taiwan's pharmaceutical industry capacity but also promotes groundbreaking products through Taiwan's extensive distribution network, ultimately benefiting more patients. 

Ms. Jocelyn Lee, the General Manager of TTY Biopharm Co. Ltd., mentioned that over the years, TTY Biopharm has become the leading brand in the Taiwanese cancer pharmaceutical market through independent research and development, manufacturing, and agency partnerships. To meet clinical demands, Taiwan Oriental has formed a strategic alliance with Roche to continue caring for patients receiving Avastin® (Bevacizumab) treatment. By leveraging Taiwan Oriental's strengths in the cancer field and Roche's international pharmaceutical resources, the partnership aims to provide medical teams with tailored drug therapy options that address clinical needs, thereby enhancing patient welfare.
