EverFortune.AI receives market approvals of three products in VietnamOct 05, 2023

Ever Fortune.AI announced that Vietnam's Ministry of Health has notified the company that three of its products, "Intelligent Cardiothoracic Ratio(iCTR) Assessment System", "Pneumothorax Detection System," and "Pleural Effusion Detection System," are approved for marketing; in addition, the "Risk Assessment for Genetic Testing" has also been granted a patent by Japan. The company has so far netted 22 approvals- 11 from Taiwan, eight from the U.S., and the other three from different countries.

According to Ever Fortune.AI, Vietnam has a population of nearly 100 million people that drive demands for healthcare. It pointed out that the "Intelligent Cardiothoracic Ratio(iCTR) Assessment System" automatically measures the maximal transverse diameter of heart and maximal inner transverse diameter of thoracic cavity further to calculate the cardiothoracic ratio of a chest X-ray image. The system enables outputing structured report, optimizing report generation efficiency, and assisting different types of physicians in focusing more on clinical decision-making and patient care.

The Pneumothorax Detection System allows radiologists to review patients with possible pneumothorax features earlier than in the standard clinical workflow. The Pleural Effusion Detection System analyses the posterior-anterior chest X-ray images of adult patients to determine whether they have the characteristics of pleural effusion.

And the one patented in Japan, the Risk Assessment for Genetic Testing uses multiple genes as independent variables, and combines the theory of probability with the prevalence of diseases in different countries to calculate the risk threshold value, which allows for a more semantic determination of the risk of a disease.

The company emphasises that it has strong R&D capabilities and is rapidly accumulating the number of certificates for SaMDs. It will showcase the products in MEDICA exhibition in Dusseldorf, Germany, the RSNA exhibition in Chicago, and the Taiwan Healthcare+ Expo.
