Taiwan AI Labs announced that the world's first generative AI healthcare industry cluster has officially launched in Kaohsiung's Asia New Bay Area, based on the laboratory's AI technology, and in conjunction with the four major medical centres- Kaohsiung Medical University Chung-Ho Memorial Hospital, Kaohsiung Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Kaohsiung Veterans General Hospital and E-Da Hospital, as well as the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), the Metal Industries Research & Development Centre, the Southern Taiwan Science Park Bureau, National Sun Yat-Sen University, and National Cheng Kung University.

Ethan Tu, founder of Taiwan AI Labs, said that in order to properly apply generative AI in the healthcare industry and take into account human rights and privacy, Taiwan Artificial Intelligence Laboratory has established an industry alliance to ensure the credibility of the generated results through the multicentre validation site based on the multicentre federated platform for applying generative AI in the healthcare field. With that said, generative AI is carried out to establish trustworthy smart healthcare products and provide better and high-quality healthcare services.
