In recent years, Leadtek has been actively pursuing the medical business. Chairman K.S. Lu announced at a press conference on the 14th that the Japanese medical market is expected to grow significantly next year, with not only the expansion of existing products, but also the active approaching of labeling customers.
According to Leadtek's third quarter financial report, the medical business's revenue in the first three quarters was approximately $93.446 million, accounting for only 2.21% of the total revenue of $4. 227 billion, while the revenue in the first 11 months exceeded $100 million.
Leadtek has been in the medical business for more than 15 years and has focused on AI cloud-based health management and care solutions in recent years. Its products include health bracelets, oximeters, Kiosk health stations, DxPatch heart detectors, autonomic nerve analyzers/HRVs, etc. Leadtek will incorporate the Alvital brand into its smart medical product line in 2019, and the design, development and manufacturing are all done in Taiwan.
We are planning to build a back-end assembly plant in Japan with our customers and expand our back-end assembly or OEM orders next year to meet the requirements of our customers who want to be Made in Japan.
Leadtek's medical products are currently in partnership with major hospitals and over 200 clinics in China, and it has also completed the distribution of its cosmetic products. In the China market, its HRV analyzer has also been adopted by many hospitals.
