Service Procedure
1. MG-medical treatment (MT):
Pre-MT: correct diagnosis, existence of comorbidities
MT: immune therapy and pyridostigmine therapy
Post-MT: watch for possible complications (eg. Infection)
2. MG-plasmapheresis (PP) treatment:
Pre-PP: set vascular access, check coagulopathy
PP: PP-related complications (eg. shock, hemolysis)
Post-PP: watch for possible infection and coagulopathy
3. MG-thymectomy treatment (TX):
Pre-TX: pre-op assessment
TX: approach (VATS, transcervical or transsternal)
Post-TX: watch for possible complications (eg. Phrenic nerve injury, collapse, infection)
