This new type of bed sensor utilizes the BCG (Ballistocardiography) principle, which is the reactive force generated by the blood flowing from the aorta to the arteries when the heart beats.
The IMU Sensor heart rate monitoring solution can capture tiny vibration signals produced by the body during sleep through an ultra-sensitive accelerometer. These signals are then processed by algorithms embedded in a microcontroller to extract biological signals such as pulse.
Through the sensor nodes of the BCG product, various biometric signals and information such as the person leaving the bed can be monitored. This solution is suitable for various medical and long-term care application scenarios.
