This product is used for serum biochemistry and serum immunology tests. The separation gel accurately isolates serum and blood cells, improving serum collection efficiency.
*After blood collection, please immediately invert to mix, then allow it to stand and centrifuge.
Features / strengths
1.Inside the tube, there is the addition of a coagulant and a separation gel made from silicon dioxide and dimethyl silicone oil.
2.The coating of the tube walls with a coagulant accelerates blood clotting, eliminating the need for a 37°C water bath and reducing the testing time.
3.The separation gel is an inert, pure substance with stable physical and chemical properties, and it is resistant to high temperatures (above 60°C) to prevent gel denaturation during transportation under elevated temperatures.
4.The separation gel has a molecular weight between serum and blood cells and exhibits excellent affinity with PET tubes. After centrifugation, it efficiently separates serum and blood cells, preventing substance exchange, improving serum collection efficiency, and extending storage duration. Its uniform molecular weight also prevents small molecules from leaching into the serum, avoiding serum contamination and probe clogging.
