ORTHO-K (SHORT FOR ORTHOKERATOLOGY) IS A NON-SURGICAL PROCEDURE USING SPECIALLY DESIGNED CONTACT LENSES TO GENTLY RESHAPE THE CURVATURE OF THE EYE TO IMPROVE VISION.

Modern orthokeratology uses reverse geometry orthokeratology lenses to temporarily reduce refractive errors.
The so-called inverted geometric lens means that the central area of the lens is slightly flatter than the cornea, and a steep inversion arc is connected to the edge to fix the lens. The lens is used to apply pressure to the cornea and create a space between the corneas to accommodate the flattened corneal epithelium that migrates peripherally. The outer edge of the reverse arc is connected with the fixed arc to maintain the stability of the lens. Using this special design, wearing it while sleeping at night can rearrange the epidermal cells and flatten the middle cornea, so that it can reduce myopia and astigmatism, and achieve the effect of correcting vision without wearing glasses.
