“Ezechbone”cement Non-dispersive Bioresorbable Calcium-based Cement

Introduction
A Ca/P/S based material with a delicate design in its chemistry, crystal structure, micro/nano-scaled structure, was co-developed by National Cheng-Kung University and Joy Medical Devices Corp. (an ISO13485/GMP-certified facility located at South Science Park, Kaohsiung, Taiwan).
Features / strengths
● Synthetic, inorganic calcium-based product (without any animal or human bone source) demonstrating osteoinductive features.​
● Nondispersive upon contact with blood/body fluid(avoiding the frustrating and dangerous cement embolism risks).
● Substantially bypassing the “text book”-suggested inflammation route while quickly and directly facilitating new bone formation.​
● Implant always intimately integrated with the surrounding bone and replaced by newly-formed bone substantially without any implant-derived inflammatory. Fibrous tissues or other undesired tissue reactions rarely observed at implant-bone interface.
● ​Demonstrates superior clinical performance in vertebroplasty, spine fusion, damaged spinal disk repair, comminuted/ burst fracture under acute or nonunion condition, osteoporotic bone fracture, plastic surgery, loosened implant etc.
