A Ca/P/S based material with a delicate design in its chemistry, crystal structure, morphology(granule and porosity shapes, dimensions, distributions, etc.)and micro/nano-scaled structure, co-developed by National Cheng-Kung University and Joy Medical Devices Corp. (an ISO13485/GMP-certified facility located at South Science Park, Kaohsiung, Taiwan).
Features / strengths
● Substantially bypassing the “text book”-suggested inflammation route while quickly and directly facilitating new bone formation throughout the entire implantation site, even in the deep interior of the implant.
● Synthetic, inorganic calcium-based product (without any animal or human bone source) demonstrating excellent osteoconductive and osteoinductive features without the common drawbacks of organic/ osteoinductive products.
●Implant always intimately integrated to the surrounding bone. Fibrous tissues or other undesired tissue reactions rarely observed at implant-bone interface.
●Much less inflammatory and inducing new bone formation much faster than the so-called “gold standard” autogenous bone graft, especially at the crucial early stage.
