Introduction
T cells are regulated by monoclonal antibody binding to the TIM-3 receptor (Receptor) on the surface of T cells, thereby enhancing the cytotoxic function of T cells.
Features / strengths
1. For TIM-3 binding on human T cells, it has quite high specificity and affinity (Kd~10-11 M);
2. It can stimulate T cells to secrete the cytokines required by related toxic-killing T cells;
3. In the mouse tumor model, the ability to inhibit tumor growth with the increase of drug dose;
4. The applied cancer immunotherapy mechanism has commercial potential in combination therapy with general small/large molecule drugs.
