xiros® ball bearings

Taiwan
Introduction
xiros polymer ball bearings to DIN 625 do not need any external lubrication, are corrosion-resistant (if glass or plastic balls are used) during operation, are extremely quiet. This makes them a cost-effective alternative to metal ball bearings. Whereas the polymer for our xiros ball bearings consists of a mixture of basic plastics, solid lubricants, fibres and filaments, the balls are typically made of glass, plastic or stainless steel.
Features / strengths
Save money and installation space
Space-saving
Lubrication-free
Maintenance-free
Corrosion resistance
Metal-free (due to the use of glass and plastic balls), therefore non-magnetic
For temperatures up to +150°C (depending on material)
High media resistance, suitable for washdown
Lightweight
Electrically insulating (or ESD-compliant)
FDA-compliant (depending on material)
Predictable service life
Specification in detail
