“Ma Kuang United Clinics of Traditional Chinese Medicine” has been deeply rooted in Taiwan for over 30 years. The first clinic was established in 1991 in Magong City, Penghu County. At that time, it was the only Chinese medicine clinic in the Penghu area, significantly improving the quality of local healthcare and receiving high recognition from the community. The name " Makuang " is derived from the phrase "The Light of Magong," symbolizing its origins and mission. The Makuang logo also carries profound meaning, expressing the hope of helping patients "escape illness, move toward health, and embrace the light." Starting from the island of Penghu, the seagull flying toward the light represents guiding people toward a healthy future.
There are currently 23 clinics across Taiwan. By the end of 2024, we will open our flagship clinic — Xinyi MaKuang Chinese Medicine Clinic — in the Xinyi District. With over 300 square meters of spacious interiors, the clinic features warm wooden tones that highlight the calm and profound essence of traditional Chinese medicine. Guided by the core value of “treating patients with kindness,” we aim to provide the most welcoming and comfortable waiting environment.
Looking ahead, Ma Kuang United Clinics of Traditional Chinese Medicine will continue to expand its scale and strive to offer the most comprehensive traditional Chinese medical services to the people of Taiwan. "Makuang safeguards the health of the Taiwanese people."
