In this exhibition of E-Da Hospital, we will present our achievements in cell therapy. We established GTP-rated Cell Processing Labs and obtained certification of GTP, ISO/IEC 17025, and peripheral blood stem cell storage bank. Now, we can produce CIK cells. In the future, we will focus on exosome, iPSC, and CAR-T cells. Our displays also include Dr. Tu, Yuan-Kun’s achievements in “autologous chondrocyte cell sheet transplantation therapy for knee joint cartilage defects”, and “minimally invasive neurosurgery”. Moreover, we will demonstrate “International Therapeutic Endoscopy Center” and “Advanced Reflux Disease Center”. All spectators are welcome to visit us for consultation. We also expect to establish collaboration and partnership with hospital, academic, and industrial sectors.
Since E-Da GTP Cell Laboratory was authorized by Taiwan Food and Drug Administration (TFDA) this year we can now conduct cell technology translation and co-development with the biotech industry. E-Da GTP has the ability to import the laboratory's research results into the manufacturing process of cellular products, including immunecells, mesenchymal stem cells, or exosomes E-Da Hospital has capacity for clinical services and a well-established clinical trial center to assistant the cellular products to complete the clinical validation..
E-Da Cancer Hospital has established 11 cancer teams and introduced state-of-the-art equipment, such as the fourth-generation Da Vinci robotic arm system, 3T ultra-high-field magnetic resonance angiography (UHFMAG), and high-level 640-cut CT scanner, to provide integrated care for more than 95% of the hospital's cancer patients. In 2022, E-Da Cancer Hospital set up a hematopoietic stem cell transplantation center, which has certificated as TFDA Peripheral Stem Cell Bank. We have successfully completed many autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplants, and are developing allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplants
International Advanced Endoscopy Center
E-Da Cancer Hospital will establish the International Advanced Endoscopy Center, which is expected to operate in April 2024,which will provide ten advanced endoscopic treatments, such as electrocautery RFA for pre-cancerous lesions of the esophagus.With integrating resources and standardizing referrals, we hope to provide the highest quality of international healthcare services.
Advanced Gastroesophageal Reflux Center
To expand the diagnosis and treatment services for GERD, the Advanced GERD Center will be officially operate in January 2024 at E-Da Da Chang Hospital, to integrate a complete GERD team, to develop new diagnosis and treatment techniques for GERD, and to cooperate with the Slimming Center for dietary hygiene and promoting the concept of precision medicine. Additionally the center will assist other hospitals in handling difficult cases and treating precancerous GERD (Barrett's esophagus) withRFA and is looking forward to further developing international medical treatment center and a designated referral center for GERD in Southeast Asia.
