Welcome to Medical Affairs Bureau(MAB), Ministry of National Defense(MND), The Republic of China(Taiwan)!
　　Pursuant to the "Organization Act of the Ministry of National Defense", Medical Affairs Bureau has been institutionalized to include five staff organizations of four departments and one office. Medical Affairs Bureau also commands all Armed Forces Hospitals, Armed Forces Medical Supplies Office, and Medical Affairs Section (Military Medical Clinic providing healthcare services to Ministry of National Defense staff organizations personnel).
　　Medical Affairs Bureau is responsible for overseeing military medicine policies; formulating and planning military health system; training, evaluating, and managing military healthcare professionals; managing performance of Armed Forces Hospitals; executing preventive medicine and health maintenance programs for uniformed service members; as well as managing military medical equipment readiness and medical supplies provision programs.
　　Providing timely, adequate, and quality healthcare services to all uniformed service members and their dependents in a sustainable fashion remains solemn commitment and steadfast promise of the military medicine team to fulfill its ultimate missions.

❂Our Vision：

Medical Affairs Bureau Ministry of National Defense aims to establish a streamlined and high quality military medical corps that provides the men and women of the armed forces with timely and appropriate medical services to fulfill military build-up and combat missions.

The establishment of the military medical corps will center around a few principles; strengthening the organizational effectiveness through integration and operational improvement; building solid foundation for military medical organizations by innovative ideas to achieve self-sufficiency; providing medical service to all military personnel in an enthusiastic and sincere manner.

❂Our Mission：

Medical Affairs Bureau (MAB) under Ministry of National Defense (MND) is tasked with the responsibility of overseeing military medicine and field health service support within the Taiwan military health system (MHS).

Primary missions of MAB include: formulation of military medicine policies, management and supervision of military health system, military health administration, readiness of health service support, service member healthcare & promotion, medical material supply, medical equipment maintenance, military medicine R&D, and stewardship of “Military Healthcare Operation Fund”.

Ensuring healthy and fit defense forces while conserving fighting strength remain ultimate goals of Taiwan MHS.
