Fu Jen Catholic University was founded more than 90 years ago and has developed into the present university based on the collaborative efforts of the Benedictines, the Jesuits, the Society of the Divine Word and the Chinese Regional Bishops' Conference.The university has a recognized reputation in many fields of education and has taken a leading role in private higher education in Taiwan.

We strongly believe that our principal obligation as a hospital is to put the patient first, and this conviction can be seen in the hospital’s design. We have given meticulous thought to the convenience of our patients down to the last detail of design. Our outpatient area and examination rooms are located together, so atients will not need to run all over the hospital for consultations and examinations.We also set up medical centers staffed with professionals from different specialties. Our philosophy is to group related departments together for patient’s convenience and efficiency.
